Image Options
This sets the number of colors that the output file will contain. The maximum allowable is 256 (which is a lot). Setting this to 0 will perform no color reduction. For best results, use the smallest number of colors that produce a satisfying vector image. For monochrome images, use color count = 2.
Set this to the color of the background that should be ignored
This sets the number of times curves will be smoothed before fitting to a spline. Default is 4. Please set a value between 1 - 10
This sets the degree to which we blur regions with similar colors when searching for edges. Too little despeckling will cause your image to have wiggly vectors caused by discrete pixels; too much and your image may turn out looking blurred beyond recognition.
Correctly orient the image using the gravity sensor data stored in EXIF
Strip the image of any profiles, EXIF, and comments to reduce size

Canon Raw CIFF Image (CRW) file is a RAW file type that is proprietary to older-model Canon digital cameras. (Newer Canon digital cameras use the CR2 format.) In terms of structure, CRW is similar to the TIFF file format. The benefit of a CRW is that it is an unprocessed image that contains all of the file’s information, as captured by the camera. To learn more about the technical details of CRW, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) offers a thorough explanation.

How to open a CRW file?

Since CRW is a proprietary file format for Canon, the best program to use to work with a CRW file is Canon’s Digital Photo Professional. Other great programs to consider are Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. If you want to try a Microsoft product, such as Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery, then be sure to install the Microsoft Raw Image Extension

As a RAW file format, CRW can convert to many different types of image files. You can use our free CRW to JPG or Image Converter tools to convert your CRW files. In addition, you can use Adobe DNG to convert CRW to DNG.

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a resolution-independent, open-standard file format. It is based on Extensible Markup Language (XML), uses vector graphics, and supports limited animation. The main benefit of using an SVG file is, as the name implies, its scalability. This file type can be resized without a loss in image quality. In addition, SVG is unique in that it is not an image format. Instead, it is an XML-based standard that provides information for creating two-dimensional vector images.

How to open an SVG file?

SVG files open readily in most web browsers, such as Firefox or Microsoft Edge. In addition, since SVG is an XML file, you can view the XML-associated text in any common text editor, such as Windows Notepad or Brackets for macOS.

It is possible to use Adobe programs for opening and editing SVG files. Just be sure to install the SVG Kit for Adobe Creative Suite plug-in first. Converting SVG files is possible with the aid of a few online tools. For conversion to non-vector file types, try our SVG to GIF or SVG to PDF tools. To convert to vector files like SVG into JPG, try our SVG to JPG or SVG to PNG tools.
