Choose how the video is resized: to a set resolution, or to a different aspect ratio, where the video's width is kept and the height is recalculated to match. Select "No change" to keep the original size.
Sets how many frames per second the output video has. Lowering it reduces file size but makes motion less smooth, and raising it above the source frame rate won't add smoothness. "No change" keeps the source frame rate.
Rotates the video clockwise by the angle you select. Choose "None" to leave it as-is.
Flips the video horizontally or vertically. "No change" leaves it as-is.

Choose how subtitles are added. "Hard" burns them into the video permanently; "Soft" keeps them separate so viewers can turn them off. Default is Hard.

Material eXchange Format (MXF) is a professional video container standardised by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) for broadcast and film production. An MXF file wraps video, multiple audio tracks, timecode, subtitles, and rich metadata into a single package that moves cleanly between editing systems and playout servers. It is codec-agnostic, so the picture inside may be XDCAM, DNxHD, AVC-Intra, or another professional codec.

How to open an MXF file?

For simple playback, VLC media player handles most MXF files.

MXF is really an editing format, and professional applications support it natively: Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro all import it. Since MXF files are large and rarely play on consumer devices, convert them for everyday use with our MXF to MP4 tool.

Xbox Video is an MP4 file encoded for playback on Microsoft Xbox consoles, pairing H.264 video with AAC audio. The preset keeps the resolution, frame rate, and bitrate inside the range the console decodes in hardware, so your own videos play full-screen on the television without buffering or audio drift.

How to open an Xbox Video file?

Copy the file onto a USB drive formatted as FAT32 or NTFS, plug it into the console, and open it with the Xbox Media Player app.

You can also stream the file from a computer on the same network using DLNA, or play it through the Plex or VLC apps on the console. On a computer, the same MP4 opens in the Movies & TV app, VLC media player, or any web browser. Our video converter can re-encode a clip for a different device or format.
