Panasonic RAW is the raw file format used by Panasonic Lumix cameras, saved with the plain .raw extension on earlier models before the company moved to RW2. The file keeps the complete sensor readout together with the exposure, lens, and white balance information from the moment of capture, so none of the tonal range is thrown away. Working from Panasonic RAW rather than JPG gives you much more room to recover highlights and adjust colour.
Panasonic ships Lumix cameras with a version of SILKYPIX Developer Studio, which is tuned specifically for these files and is the manufacturer’s recommended developer.
Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw support Panasonic raw files, as do RawTherapee and darktable. Note that .raw is a generic extension used by several manufacturers, so a file that will not open may have come from a different camera brand entirely.

OpenDocument Drawing (ODD) is a graphics document from the OpenDocument family, the open standard used by LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice. The file is a ZIP package containing XML that describes shapes, lines, text boxes, and any embedded bitmaps, so the artwork stays editable and scales without losing quality. Note that the standard extension for OpenDocument drawings is .odg, and .odd files are usually the same kind of drawing document.
The natural application is LibreOffice Draw, which reads the whole OpenDocument family. Apache OpenOffice Draw works equally well.
If the file will not load, try renaming it to .odg first — that is the extension LibreOffice expects for a drawing. Other options include Inkscape, which imports OpenDocument drawings, and Google Drive, which can preview many OpenDocument files in the browser. To share the drawing with someone who has no office suite, convert it to PDF or PNG. You can also convert the file with our ODD to PDF tool.
