Truevision TARGA (TGA) is a raster image format created for Truevision’s early high-colour graphics cards. TGA supports up to 32 bits per pixel, including a full alpha channel for transparency, and it can be stored uncompressed or with run-length encoding. Because the format is simple and preserves an alpha channel losslessly, it remains common in video games, 3D rendering, and visual effects work.
Windows Photos and macOS Preview can display many TGA files, but for reliable results use a dedicated image program. GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, and Paint.NET all open and edit TGA directly.
For quick viewing or batch work, try XnView MP or IrfanView. TGA files are large compared with modern formats, so convert them before sharing online with our TGA to PNG tool, which keeps transparency, or TGA to JPG for the smallest size.

OpenDocument Drawing (ODD) is a graphics document from the OpenDocument family, the open standard used by LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice. The file is a ZIP package containing XML that describes shapes, lines, text boxes, and any embedded bitmaps, so the artwork stays editable and scales without losing quality. Note that the standard extension for OpenDocument drawings is .odg, and .odd files are usually the same kind of drawing document.
The natural application is LibreOffice Draw, which reads the whole OpenDocument family. Apache OpenOffice Draw works equally well.
If the file will not load, try renaming it to .odg first — that is the extension LibreOffice expects for a drawing. Other options include Inkscape, which imports OpenDocument drawings, and Google Drive, which can preview many OpenDocument files in the browser. To share the drawing with someone who has no office suite, convert it to PDF or PNG. You can also convert the file with our ODD to PDF tool.
